This ain't Texas! Actually it is!!
As you know Éadaoin's passion for teaching search and rescue for sport and professional dogs has taken her on an incredible journey. Last year, she had the privilege of being invited to the INBTI (International Bloodhound Training Institute) Mantrailing Seminar in Texas. The experience left her hooked on both the method and the high standards set by INBTI instructors.
This year Éadaoin headed back to Texas this March. This time, however, the pressure was on! While last year Éadaoin was an observer, this time she was booked as a dog handler. What adds an extra layer of excitement (and nerves) is that she only met her Mantrailing dog on the first day of the seminar!
You can check out what she got up to on this amazing adventure here.
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey.

Maeve McCluskey - Cork Mantrailing
Maeve studied Animal Sciences at St. John’s College and began working with Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, primarily as a Dog Care Assistant and she now manages the Breeding Programme. Maeve's journey into Mantrailing began in March 2022, after she rehomed a reactive GSD pup named River. She started Mantrailing with River as it was one of very few activities suited to reactive dogs. That’s when she decided to became a Mantrailing Global Instructor to help dog owners like herself build confidence for themselves and their dogs, and to provide a fun inclusive outlet for the dogs.Maeve is one of our Cork Mantrailing Instructors and runs Introduction and Progress Sessions.
