In this immersive four-week course, you'll embark on a transformative journey, exploring the intricate art and science behind successful Mantrailing.

Scent Foundations Dive into the fundamentals with a comprehensive introduction to Mantrailing. Understand the origins of the practice, explore the mysteries of scent, and uncover common mistakes beginners make when starting their journey into Mantrailing. Engage in hands-on experience with two trails per dog each week (both theory and practical sessions), setting the stage for a remarkable learning adventure.
Rituals and Routines Discover the significance of a proper starting ritual and its impact on the success of your trails. Delve into the psychology behind rituals and learn how to create an optimal environment for both dogs and handlers. Experience a line handling sessions that equip you with practical skills to manage trails effectively. Dive back into the exhilarating experience with two trails per dog each day.
Canine Olfactory Magic Unveil the wonders of the canine olfactory system—the powerhouse behind successful Mantrailing. Explore different types of starts and their rationale. Gain insights into how hounds perceive scent and learn how to enhance their natural abilities. Our immersive trails and sniff exercises are designed to solidify your understanding of scent dynamics.
Trail Components and Beyond Navigate the intricate components of a trail, including indications, door IDs, car pickups, and more. Master the art of handling decoys, handling split trails, and orchestrating split starts. Understand the holistic picture of a successful Mantrailing expedition. Immerse yourself in practical experience with a blind trail at the end of the course, showcasing your newly honed skills.
